Welcome to Northill Equestrian at Twin Trees. We are looking forward to welcoming you here in the coming months.

Northill Equestrian is set in 40 acres of Bedfordshire countryside, within easy reach of the A1.  It has great facilities, including a large yard with 21 stables, two all weather arenas and a large lorry parking area. This means that we can offer a fantastic range of clinics and competitions, working alongside other accredited coaches, to provide training in many different equestrian disciplines. We are looking forward to working with individuals, groups, Pony Clubs, Riding Clubs, Associations and many more.

Northill Equestrian is run by Helen Hawkins, who is a BHS Stage 5 Accredited Coach and holds the BHS Stable Managers qualification. Her passion for horses was sparked by several cheeky ponies she had as a child and grew from there into a career as a hunt groom spanning over 20 years. Alongside this she was guided into Eventing and took her own 4 year old through to BE Novice level and also competed clients horses up to BD Advanced Medium and BS Foxhunter.

Helen is available for coaching individuals or teaching for clinics arranged onsite and is also available for riding and groundwork sessions.

​

Helen has taught for Pony Clubs and Riding Clubs, as well as her own clinics and enjoys encouraging all riders to find an enjoyable path through to their goals. Helen has a keen interest in the biomechanics of riding and how both the horse and rider can work in harmony with each other.
